PARK GUIDELINES
1.
Every user
group must travel in at least a pair within the same user group (2 SUV, 2
ATV/Motorbikes). There is no exception to this rule.
2.
All
participants (not including passengers) must watch the safety video before
entering the park.
3.
All
participants (including passengers) must fill out a current
waiver and check in and out. All drivers must show
valid driver’s license and all passengers must show valid I.D. at time of
check-in.
4.
All minors
(drivers/riders/passengers) must bring signed, notarized
minor
forms with them on their first visit. They can be printed off the website
here.
5.
All
participants must display an orange safety flag. SUV/4x4’s must have the flag
at least one foot above the highest point of the vehicle (not just the
roof). ATV’s must have the flag at least one foot above the helmet while
standing on the foot-pegs. All children must have the standard 6’+ pole.
6.
All
participants must wear the provided Paragon wristband on their left wrist.
7.
Seatbelts
must be worn at all times while driving on Paragon grounds. Infants and
children must be restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.
8.
No
alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, or weapons are allowed on Paragon property.
No person may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substances that
may hinder thinking ability or reaction time. Coolers will be checked prior to
entering the park.
9.
All
SUV/4x4’s must be insured. PA State Law requires all ATV’s to be registered and
insured (or conform to your States ATV Law). We are not a law enforcement
agency, if you do not have what your State requires, you ride at your own risk.
10.
All
SUV/4x4 must have at least one tow point (example: tow hook or receiver
hitch). Front and rear tow points are mandatory for trails rated 3 and above.
11.
All SUV’s
must have the following: proper roll-over protection (i.e. roll bar, roof ) to
include the passenger(s), full size spare tire (or tire large enough to get you
out of the park), battery tie down (no bungee cords), seatbelts, tow point(s),
trash bag for liquid spills, tow strap (within their group), flag, wristband.
12.
Speed
limit for everyone is 15 mph in the parking areas and on all main and two-way
roads. This is strictly enforced. All vehicles/machines must be in control at
all times.
13.
Parking
lot is for parking. No tricks or horseplay. Please do not cause commotion or
damage to other vehicles. You will be held responsible.
14.
Please be
courteous to oncoming traffic. Practicality dictates that the vehicle(s) that
can pull over with the least amount of difficulty should do so. Please respect
proper trail etiquette. Do not block a trail.
15.
Please
tread lightly. Please use tree saver straps, the correct size tree, etc. No
one is allowed to cut down a tree, for any reason.
16.
All
participants must stay on designated trails and follow directional signs. All
participants must remain with their designated group. Anyone found by alone
will be in violation of this rule.
17.
Travel
only where motorized vehicles are permitted. Trailhead signs show the
appropriate vehicle allowed on a trail. Do not blaze a new trail. Everyone
must stay on Paragon Adventure ParkSM Property.
18.
Cross
streams only at designated crossings. Avoid lake and swamp areas.
19.
No
disorderly conduct; No littering; No tobacco products
may be deposited on PARAGON Property (Cigarette Butts, Cigars, Chewing Tobacco,
etc…). This includes the parking lot as well as the trails.
20.
ATV/Motorbikes must follow all OEM recommendations (helmet, single rider, age,
etc.). Helmets must be worn AT ALL TIMES when machine is in motion. Eye
protection is necessary. No tear-off goggles
permitted.
21.
ATV/Motorbike riders must wear a helmet, goggles, gloves, long sleeves, long
pants & closed toed shoes. Spark arrestors are
mandatory.
22.
Age of a
rider is determined by the manufacturers suggested age limit. All children
under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
23.
Everyone
must stay on the appropriate level trail(s) suited for your vehicle/machine
requirements and driver ability. Being on a trail that is not suited for your
vehicle/machine requirements or ability is in violation of this rule.

Paragon Adventure ParkSM is not required nor should be expected to
recover, repair or escort non-emergencies out of the park. Please have a way to
get yourself out of the park if you are broken. Paragon staff, if able to do
so, will do their best to offer assistance.
EVERYONE MUST RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF
OTHER USERS SO THEY MIGHT ENJOY ACTIVITIES UNDISTURBED. DRIVE RESPONSIBLY TO
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND PRESERVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY YOUR
VEHICLE/MACHINE ON THE LAND.
THESE
RULES ARE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY. Participants that disregard the rules of
PARAGON, or pose a safety threat to themselves or others will, at a minimum, be
ejected from the park without a refund and may be suspended from future visits
to PARAGON. Penalty charges, in addition, may be assessed as indicated below.
PENALTY CHARGES
$35 penalty charge per half hour for every two vehicles/machines late
$35 penalty charge for disorderly conduct including, but not limited to,
speeding
$50 minimum penalty charge for littering,
including trash in the parking lot
$50 minimum charge for vehicle recovery – based on type needed

$35 minimum penalty charge
for breaking any of the above rules
All violations
can lead to
possible
suspension.
